Terms of Service
Last updated: May 11, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, using Proofli, or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Proofli.
2. Service description
Proofli helps creators understand where their content travels. The service may include content uploads, fingerprinting, content journey tracking, appearance monitoring, attribution workflows, analytics, reports, and creator-facing tools for credit, licensing, and takedown review.
Detection, matching, platform coverage, analytics, and alerts are provided on a best-effort basis. Proofli does not guarantee that every repost, derivative, or use of your content will be found.
3. User accounts and subscriptions
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account, billing, and contact information.
Some Proofli features may require a paid subscription. Subscription access, limits, file size thresholds, platform connections, and usage allowances may vary by plan.
4. Payment terms
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe or another payment provider shown at checkout. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges for the selected plan until you cancel.
Prices, billing cycles, taxes, and plan features may change. We will present material pricing changes before they apply to an active subscription where required by law.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a subscription through your account settings, the applicable app store, or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund prior charges.
Refunds are handled according to the payment provider or app store rules that apply to your purchase, unless otherwise required by law.
6. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of the content you upload. You grant Proofli a limited license to host, process, transform, fingerprint, analyze, display, and monitor your content as needed to provide the service.
Proofli, its software, product design, trademarks, reports, workflows, and platform materials are owned by Proofli or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the service.
7. User content and lawful use
You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and monitor content through Proofli. You may not use Proofli to violate law, infringe third-party rights, harass others, submit false claims, or interfere with the service.
8. Limitation of liability
Proofli is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proofli will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by unavailable services, inaccurate detections, third-party platforms, or user actions.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of Proofli after updated terms become effective means you accept the changes.
